My exploration into film began as a cinematographer. As I began directing my own work, I wanted to learn about actors, so I took an acting class. I fell in love with the craft and the depth it brought to my exploration. My work has explored multi-media live production, theater, experimental film, and traditional narrative in a variety of forms.

'13 Kushaqua Trail’

A film that uses architecture, form, soundscape, and movement to evoke a cathartic experience through a very intimate subject. The subjects were simultaneously representations of a single character and individual actors. The location itself the main character.

'Restroom'

A short film by Kira Davies

The service industry is a place where the staff has very little personal or private space. However, life is a constant. As is the need for privacy. So, I began to explore how people steal back their privacy when the expectation is to be only of service.

I directed, produced, and acted in the film. It was a fun collaboration between a small but dynamic team of fellow filmmakers.
